Our Vision is to create a beautiful home for children. The home is to be built in the mountains of Sayuni in Njombe, Tanzania. The land is given to us by the Convent of St Mary. There is an existing farm and medical centre.
The process has been organic and slightly delayed due to builder and covid issues. The good news we are now back on track with a new building team lead by Mr Robert Cuthbert.
The first Cottage and Manager’s House are almost complete with running water, paint and finishing touches. Nicky and David will be visiting the site in October to help prepare the inside to welcome children once the license has been authorised. Bishop Matthew is currently selecting a committee team, as per regulations, to oversee the home and children.
Once the cottage is fully furnished and ready to welcome children. The fund raising will continue until all the buildings are complete.

The build began in May 2018.
The process has been organic.
The first Cottage is almost complete. An extra room was added to be used as an office, medical and counselling room until the reception block is built.
The Managers house has had a kitchen added.
The build is hopefully to be completed by December 2020, but the recent Covid-19 infection has delayed travel and consequently all has been delayed in completing the first stage.
We have received a generous donation to create a small holding and plant the land with maize and avocados. We will endeavour to begin this essential work to sustain income and food for the orphanage once the cottage is fully furnished and ready to welcome children.
The fund raising will continue until all the buildings are complete. Then we will be looking to raise money to maintain a high standard of care and education for the children.
